Hi! We are glad to see you again after such a long break (believe me, it was not on purpose!). We are pained to say it, but the closets are no longer able to keep all our costumes  and we have to sell our old cosplay! Specially for this purpose we`ve created a shop on Etsy. Now you can see there all the prices and options and perhaps buy something that you find interesting!
So far we have put up for sale only two cosplay costumes, but we are not planning to stop there. In the near future we will offer some more costumes. Also you always can write us about any other costumes from the gallery and find out whether it will be sold - we will be happy to provide you any information!

Hello!
We are very sorry for disappearing for such a long term, but we actually are trying to step back into the ranks and present some new works to you, folks! Soon enough you are (hopefully) going to see some new interesting photo shoots, but for now this is not that we are going to talk about!

In winter of 2012 we started to work at the costumes of Yuuko and Clow Reed, hoping to finish them till spring and to make some pictures with blooming cherry and apple trees. In the result, the costumes were finished only in May 2014. Due to some circumstances we couldn`t shoot Clow, but you might have seen some pictures of Yuuko alone.

      

That could have been the end of this project, but fortunately we had received an offer from very talented photographer from Moscow  and we just couldn`t miss the chance.
Even now you can see the result in form of a few amazing pictures. To be honest this is one of our best and most productive photo sessions and we`d like to express our appreciation to everyone, who worked for it and of course to all of you, our dear watchers!
Over and over again we are happy to collaborate with one of the best Russian make-up artists. Afemera () is a pure genius with golden hands, who is able to create an ideal image. We are working together for quite a time already, and each time she manages to become even better, aven more talented!
We also are very grateful to our assistant and valuable teammate Marty (). Dear, you are the best!
And of course we want to thank the photographer! Yana (), you helped as to make a step forward, showed as that we can achieve even more than that and that there are things to strive for and that  we can become better.

That was very, very cool!
We are happy that we`ve managed to achieve such result and we are going to continue to try harder and show even more works.

And hello again!
The very beginning of 2013 and yesterday we had the first photo shoot of many that are yet to come.
Season`s opening was with "Ludwig Kakumei" . For a long time already we`d wanted to shoot costume of Queen Amalberga, what was made in 2011 and recently was completed and re-modeled. And here was Marty, who expressed her desire to shoot the costume of Little Ludwig. How can one resist?
We did our best, to make everything as perfect as possible and to reach new heights with our cosplays and photographing. Virr diligently took pictures, sweeping out the floor along the way, Rip put her heart to the process and a ton of powder on the girls` faces, creating their make-up, and Eugenie and I ran around, acting like flashmen.
This is not a secret, that we love this manga and our most cherished and precious to us works are directly related to it. We sincerely hope, that you will like the results as well ^^.

Hello there!
We continue our autobiographical tale, and now we`d like to let you know, that the Marionette Theatre have more than one member (who, apparently changes its gender and appearance for every new cosplay), how some seems to think.
As you probably already know, our cosband was officially formed in 2008 (Wow! We are going to turn 5 soon!). At first there were only three members, but gradually more and more people came to us, so now even we ourselves can`t say for sure, how many members are there in the cosband. Because apart from our regular members we also worked with a lot of cosplayers from other groups. And also there were those, who made only one costume and then quitted, not willing to spend time and money for such hobby.

Well, let me start and introduce you one of the old-timers and also one of our leaders – Altavista.
She is the person, whose responsibility includes (among other things) to write you "Thanks for fav/watch!". ` Cause it`s always nice to hear "Thank you!", right? .
Currently she has 11 costumes, and six of them are made after the works of our favourite mangaka Kaori Yuki. We sincerely and wholeheartedly love her interpretation of princess Friderike from manga "Ludwig Kakumei" and she herself is a big fan of this character. It must to mean something if she made 5 different versions of Idike and, as I hope, she isn`t going to stop at that!
The most outstanding Altavista`s cosplay is Seth from Tores Shibamoto`s artwork. This costume was the most difficult to made and to shoot. You can hardly imagine how windy that day was! But Alta managed to stand her ground XD. Another reason to be proud of her - and to comment the resulting pictures ^^. Give the cosplayer some feedback – she will be glad to know, that all her suffering was not in vain.
 

And another old-timer, without who we would`ve been drown into misery – Eugenie! I can`t speak on everybody`s behalf, but for me she is the best Lucille in the world (Royal Doll Orchestra) and the voice of reason in our cosband.
Eugenie has 8 cosplays in her portfolio. And (I might be repeating myself) but she is the most well-known as Lucille. However one should know, that she also is an amazing Ludwig (whose photo shoot is coming soon ) and the cutest Arthur (England from Hetalia).
Also it should be mentioned, that she is the person, who answers all the comments and translate posts for this blog, as she knows English perfectly (translator`s note: what is a lie) unlike some others ^^"(translator`s note: you meant to write "me", right?) . Eugenie, as well as Alta, is the second leader of our cosplay group (translator`s note: "vice-president" or "Lotmor`s speech person" sounds much better, actually).
So, just so you know – if you chat with someone it`s her!
  
 
And now, our dear friends, lets introduce you our "Kawaii element" - Marty!
If in our gallery you can see something little, big-eyed and overall cute – this is highly possible that you look at her.
At this moment she has 4 cosplays (which she made as a part of our team, that`s it). But if I have to name the most impressive her image that definitely will be Queen Gemsilica from the Royal Doll Orchestra. I hope that no one will be offended, if I say, that there is no Queen better than her. She is the most beautiful creature :3. Also she is the most hardcore gamer, and sometimes we think, that if she had played a bit less, she would`ve been able to make more costumes XD.

Few of our foreign friends know, but we had a Trinity Blood project dedicated to AX. Unfortunately I have to admit that all and all it was a failure. But! Even under these circumstances there was its star – and her name is Lil. "Mommy Lil" (as we lovingly call her) was our epic-cool Katherina Sforza (and one day we definitely will finish the costume!). For already two years Lil is a part of our cosband, but due to the fact, that she has personal life and a lot of work, she can`t devote herself to the cosplay. But it`s fine by us.
In regard of her finished costumes you can see her Reira (from manga Nana), which will win your heart with her amazing flowerbed dress! XD.


Of course, we can`t not to mention the sex-idol of our group – Kris! As a member of the Marionette Theatre she made 3 images: two costumes of witch Dorothea (Ludwig Kakumei) and her famous epic cosplay of Astharoshe Asran.
In the nearest future you can wait for new cosplays from her (and Astharoshe is among them ) and new pictures!


And among our newest members I`d like to name Malfin, who contributed to our favourite fandom and cosplayed Amalia, the Blue Beard`s bride (from manga Ludwig Kakumei). We all hope, that she will continue to gladden the eye and will create a few new wonderful images!


And in conclusion I`ll tell about myself . I`m Lotmor, the one who`ve created this cosband 7 years ago (though officially it exists only for 5 years) and I`m immensely happy, that our works are somehow popular. My personal cosplay achievements are insignificant and very few (I`m even ashamed of that, but what can I do!). My main task in our cosplay group is to organize things. I upload images, write entries in journal, communicate with photographers and monitor the progress of the costumes.

Translator`s note: Ok, and now let ME correct something. If not for this person, most of us would never be in cosplay at all. And even if sometimes it might be harsh, but I would definitely regret it! His organization abilities are beyond imagination and even if he sometimes (?) might be a jerk, this person is what actually keeps the team together. And what about his "insignificant cosplay achievements"? Well, you surely can see him as an amazing blond evil!elven prince and as Cesare Borgia from manga Cantarella. And I hope, soon you`ll see more of him (I personally will make sure of it). So, this is all for now, stay with us and see ya!

We welcome you and (indeed!?) write our first post in this blog.
Firstly : we really want to say that the premium-account DA - it's perfect! (For example, we have finally changed the login!)
Secondly: with the help of this live journal we want to get closer acquainted with cosplayers and photographers from different cities and countries.
We will start with the following:
In 2012 from 12th to 21st of November me ( ) and Eugenie ( ) went to Europe for vacations, or to be more precise, to France, Paris. We flew through Prague (but even didn`t get to drink Czech beer there! Shame!) and already there it was difficult for us not to admire the sights of local beauty: wonderful manicured and flowering parks, where peacocks were strolling freely. Functioning fountains and complete absence of tourist crowds. Clean streets, yards, morning Charles Bridge, where was no one. And everything is so incredibly beautiful, that it is beyond words, really!
Passing by, we cried : "Oh, if we only could teleport cosplay team and photographers here! And shoot, shoot, shoot cosplays! One by one!"
But the dream remained a dream. We left the magic of Prague and its tiny houses-castles and red roof tiles behind and headed to Paris. I won`t write about the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, as they are beautiful by default.
I want to touch a more intimate thread ... cemeteries.
We lived in Montmartre, not far from the legendary burials and, of course, we decided to go there without fail.
And this is where suspicions and questions started to arise: "Dear European cosplayers! French, Germans and many others, tell us why don`t you shoot cosplays against the background of your beauties!?"
We are severe Russian people (XD) and we do not have 80% of what your countries can give you. Magic architecture: churches, chapels, gardens, castles. Your weather: in November it is all covered with snow in Russia, while Paris and its suburbs were covered with green leaves! You can buy manga in the bookstore and go home to read it in bed, and consider costumes in details while here, in Russia, they can`t publish the "Angels Sanctuary" for 7 years already, constantly interrupting production. And we have to deal with poor scans from the Internet.
Maybe we do not know something? Do you have any restrictions on shooting? Or photo-shooting in a public place on the background of castles/cemetries (select your option) is prohibited or cost big price?

We're going to France again, this time in Strasbourg, in spring. Аnd we want to shoot something there, because it's so beautiful! .. And as you can understand we dont want to do something contrary to the laws or social standards of a foreign country))
